About NTFCU'S Interactive Voice Response System
Now you can call almost any time*-day or night-and access your own account for balances, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, share drafts (checks) clearing and more! The IVRS is an "off-line" sophisticated answering/message service that will be updated daily.
Transactions will be acknowledged by the IVRS, performed by the CU staff throughout the day, and updated on the IVRS the next morning.
How it works
- Call 847.256.1307
- When you call you must enter your share/membership account number(ends in zero).
- When you are asked to enter your Personal Identification number(PIN), enter the last 4 digits of your social security number.
- For your protection change your PIN on the system as soon as possible!!
- Your share account is the same number as your account (ends in zero).
- Your share draft number is a sub-account. It is your regular share account number with 01 at the end of it.
- Your loan account is your account number with a letter after it.
- You will need special credit union approval to transfer between different account numbers on the IVRS (different membership/savings accounts).
As with all new programs, there will be a period of adjustment for members and staff! This new service should prove to be a great enhancement for all of our members and is another step to a more modern approach to helping you with your financial needs.
Hopefully, as members become more comfortable with this new service, the regular telephone system will be more accessible as many of the calls that usually tie up our lines will be using the IVRS.
For your protection, the credit union may call to verify your transactions. This is the perfect time to verify your current address and telephone numbers with NTFCU. Do we have your daytime number?
* Note: The system will be updated between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. the IVRS will be down and updating current information. Please do not call at this time!
